Pharmaceutical firm Forest Laboratories, Inc. Monday announced preliminary top-line results from a Phase II clinical trial of cariprazine for the treatment of bipolar depression, stating that there was evidence of a clinically relevant treatment effect in the high-dose arm of the study by comparison to placebo.
